It’s a tricky question to answer because yes there is some obvious benefit from using social media, such as that it gives you a platform to engage with your customers or potential customers, whilst it’s another area where people can discover you, but with organic reach decreasing on all social media platforms, some believe it’s not worth putting in the time if you’re not willing to pay out for social media averts.
That’s’ a good argument, but if we have to answer this question with a yes or a no, we will go with the latter. Many businesses were performing perfectly and hitting good sales before the invention of social media and in all fairness, there are some industries where social media marketing is not a priority and never will be. So no you don’t need a social media presence, but it can help! And social media can work for any businesses if you want it to.
